Both the branches are equally good. It depends on you which branch you have interest in. Both the IITs are great. As far as placement is concerned, the highest package at IIT Roorkee till date is Rs.1.4 Crore and average package is Rs.11 LPA. The highest package

DCET is conducted for the admission in Diploma Lateral Entry in the state of Karnataka. IIT Bombay is in Maharashtra. You can not get a seat in IIT Bombay by appearing DCET.
