Yes, you can get into the IITs. However, you need to take up JEE Mains and also clear the JEE Advanced exams like the several other +2 students.
Also, there is no direct entry into the 2nd year of the course for Diploma holders in IITs, unlike admission

No, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is not associted with IIT Bombay in terms of Training&Placements. All facilities are provided to the officials conducting campus interviews in the NERIST campus. Arrangements are also made for conducting off-campus interviews at Guwahati, Tezpur, Silchar, etc.

iit bombauy is way better tha iit guwahti, as there are mnay facilities than iit guwahtias well the faculty is also good. and iit bombay has the better job opartunities for the students. so go fot iit bombay.
