Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
Dear aspirant
The cutoff marks for any college depends on various dynamic factors so the table below is only for an idea about the cutoff ranks. These may vary according to the present year's scenario.
IIT Bombay does not offer Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch.
IIT Bombay Opening and Closing Rank 2020 (Round 6) :
Note - All the ranks mentioned in the table are SC Category Ranks.
Dear Sruthi,
The Indian Institutions of Technology (IIT) forayed into the league of premier B-schools of India, MBA from IITs has picked up the pace. Low IIT MBA fees is also one of the major reasons behind students choosing them over a popular but private B-School. Entrance examinations for MBA admissions are CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP etc.
So, if you are graduated with a degree and want to move forward for MBA, crack the entrance exams and apply for the same.

All the very best.
At a Rank where you get Physics at IIT Bombay, you also get Electrical at IIT Kanpur or maybe ECE at IIT Kharagpur, MnC at IIT Guwahati as well as CSE Dual at IIT BHU, Mechanical at IIT Delhi. I genuinely believe these options are much better with respect to Faculty, Curriculum, Infrastructure and Placements than going after NIT Warangal CSE. But Unless youre genuinely interested in Research or Physics, dont go after Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay. Most Engineering Physics Students, either go after Research Careers with a MS/PhD in US or maybe Prepare for Software, Finance Roles in Placements. Engineering Physics has comparatively lesser Placement Prospects in India as well. Instead if youre obsessed about IIT Bombay, you may take Chemical or Mechanical Dual for better Placement Prospects. Secondly Engineering Physics after Electrical is undoubtedly is the Toughest Branch across Curriculums in IITs, hence it is not at all student friendly and doesnt have a relaxed and structured Curriculum.
if we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for SC category was 29 for CSE branch in IIT Bombay . It is little bit difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 40 in SC category then there would be good chances for you to get CSE branch in IIT Bombay .
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Thankyou
IITs are always best at there placement records. In case of cse IIT pallalkad , placement are also good. If you have the knowledge on industry materials and capable to fullfill the company demand then you must be hired. In other hand engineering physics has different types of career opportunities.
If you want to jobs in IT sector or you are a technical guy then CSE is the best choice for you.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Hope you are doing well.
Cgpa or the score is important in screening. Some of the companies would remove the one with lesser cgpa. After the selection, your skills matter most. Also you may lose one opportunity when you couldn't answer the simple questions in the interviews. All the factors matter in placement. Resume is also a very important factor.Evaluation criteria for different companies varies. So you have to go through it and prepare accordingly. Also do strengthen your communication skills.
