Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
Hello,
With a 69 percentile in JEE Main, it is highly unlikely for your son to secure admission in IIT Bombay. Admission to IITs, including IIT Bombay, is based on the JEE Advanced exam, for which qualification through JEE Main is required. Generally, to qualify for JEE Advanced, candidates need to be in the top 2,50,000 ranks in JEE Main, which typically requires a higher percentile than 69.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hi
hope you doing well
First of all, Congratulations on your impressive score in JEE Main! With a 99.804 percentile, you have a good chance of securing a seat in several National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The specific NIT you can get into will depend on various factors, including your category (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.), the branch you prefer, and the cutoffs for the various NITs in your category.
With your percentile, you might be eligible for the following NITs, particularly for branches like Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering:
Its better to study like your own way but if you need tips surely i will give you:
Familiarize yourself with the JEE Advanced exam pattern and syllabus. Understand the types of questions and the marking scheme.
Its very Important to solve previous years' papers and take mock tests to improve your speed and accuracy. This will help you get comfortable with the exam format.
Develop a study schedule that allocates sufficient time for each subject and stick to it. Prioritize your weak areas while maintaining your strengths.
And Go on, Don't take unnecessary stress
Best Wishes.
Hello aspirant,
IIT Bombay is a very prestigious college of country and getting admission in it is one of the most toughest job. The cutoff of IIT Bombay is very high and with 61 percentile, you can not get this college even if you are from SC category. I suggest you to prepare hard and give your best next year.
Hope this information helps you.
If you passed 12th in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 2023, you need to study PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) to be eligible for BTech in IIT Bombay through JEE Advanced. You can join 12th again with PCM subjects in 2024 and appear for JEE Main and Advanced after passing. This way, you become eligible because math is compulsory for engineering. So yes, you can do 12th again with PCM and then try for IIT through JEE. Keep working hard!
