Placement in IIT bombay for engineering physics are quite good.Not many students go for placement rather, some go for higher studies also .basically as an example we take - Among 20 students,17 are placed approx in any good company....The average package is approx  20 lpa and highest package

I believe you should prefer Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay over NIT W CSE. Engineering Physics is basically a Engineering Research branch and deals with Physics in Engineering and Application. As far as IIT Bombay is concerned, you shouldnt have any issue regarding Location, Faculty, Infrastructure and Research Facilities. As

Both of the Branches and colleges are good you can choose either on of them if you had said IIT Bombay CSE vs IIT Tirupathi CSE then ofcourse IIT Bombay but you have chosen two very different branches then the best thing for you will be to choose

1. IITS mumbai is better college than ism, but metallurgy as iit mumbai is not that good.
2. Ece is a better branch than metallurgy
