Do we need to fill forms seprately for admission in management courves in IISc, IIT Delhi and other IITs.If yes, what are expected dates of opening of application?

Udit Narayan 9th Jun, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Yes for pursuing career in management you need to apply for management courses in IISc, IIT Delhi and other IITs differently. All of this colleges take admission on the bases of CAT exam which is held in november generally, so if you want to apply for it you need to fill the form which will come around August.

You have to fill a form for CAT and appear and have good scores in it along with that you have to separately fill forms of all the Universities and colleges you want to take admission in, all of this forms have different fees and you will have to pay them to fill the form. CAT is just a score card that enables you to get admission in universities for MBA courses. Except CAT you can also apply to private colleges entrance exams for pursuing the course. But for IITs and IISc you will have to fill a form separately and appear in their processes (like GD, PI etc ) along with bachelors degree and CAT or other exam scores, for getting selected.

can i get iit delhi for mtech in rock engineering or environmental engineering.my gate score is 675.

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 30th May, 2020
Hello,
You have good gate score. For most top branches, IIT Delhi have cutoff between 500-750. So for environment engineering, you can easily get an admission through your gate score. If you have any reservation category then it will be helpful to you.
There is high chance so you should apply for IIT Delhi campus. It would be better option to try for Bombay and Hyderabad campus also.
Hope it helps!
