Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar
Hey Kajal,
IIT Gandhinagar's intake for M.TECH is 40 for each specialisations and not the combined intake. They have 8 specialisations-
Hamza there is no fixed marks or rank cut-off for any of the IITs. Every year marks vs rank distribution varies according to the difficulty of paper and performance of the students. Also the opening and closing rank varies according to the interest in the college and the branch every year.
If you talk about last year then with 190-200 marks in JEE Advanced under the general category you can get all the branches except computer science engineering whose cut-off was relatively very high. But this time due to various reasons according to coaching's experts the cut-off is going to go down so it can be expected that the marks vs rank distribution will also fall so you can assume to get the same rank which you were getting with 190-200 marks in 170-190 marks.
In short, if you can get around 4000-6000 rank in JEE Advanced under general category then you will have a high probability of getting all the stream in IIT Gandhinagar except Computer Science.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
please help sir for software engineering
