Yes you can get direct admission in few old IITs. Though I would suggest you to prepare for interview as well. It would be as a backup for you as in top IITs like Bombay, Delhi it would be slightly tough because they become bit unpredictive sometimes. But

But in general, to get into IITs, the normal cutoff is around 650-700 GATE score(could be a bit higher too sometimes). To get such a score, you may have to haveatleast 55-60 out of 100.
