If you just want a Master degree from a Govenment Institute then please go for it or else please drop 1 more year give it more shot and kill in GATE 2020.

If you are passing out student then it will be fine for you to drop 1

your chance of getting admission in IITs is pretty good. according to previous year cut off, you have decent chance. you can get admssion IITs like Guwahati etc.

Yes, you are eligible. 

Eligibility Criteria -

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 75% marks. For SC/ ST and PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% as they need the aggregate of minimum 65% marks.
