Preparatory course conducted by IITs is actually a different thing. I guess, you know that. And, with a rank of 131 under SC category for prep. course, your chances are not so high, but still, you have a fair chance. If the students with higher rank doesn't show

As your rank under SC category for prep. course is 457, which is a bit low, your chances are very less. You'll have to wait. The seats for prep. courses are very low. So, you have to go through the allotment process and see for yourselves. And,
