My score in jee mains is 100 I am and SC candidate and I got preparatory rank in jee advance I should take nit or preparatory course in iit

Shubham Nalawade 13th Jun, 2018
Well it will depend upon you, what you choose.
But taking any branch in IIT in which you are not interested will affect your academic progress . I think it would be better to choose NIT with a good branch and study well.
Best wishes for your future!!!

i have 78% in boards but i am in top 20 percentiel of my board.am i eligible for iit,nit admission?

ANKITA SONI 14th Oct, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

Yes, but for the boards eligibility criteria. For NIT you have to qualify JEE Main and for IIT you have to qualify JEE Advance.

You can use the JEE College Predictor for getting admission in NIT, IIIT or GFTI

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

And use JEE Advanced

OK, first of all study all your 12 chapter in ncert level and solve basic questions on that focus on and prepare 12 syllabus first because practically you can't study two year course in one year and moreover you have to start from ground level.                                                                                 Best of luck.
