Is there a possibility of getting admission into iit if we cross cutoff marks by only 1 or 2?

Hi there.
If you're clearing the cut off by just one or two marks, then there is no possibility of getting an IIT. You somewhere get eligible for some good private colleges.

But for IIT's you have to clear a far better score.
But this will not fetch you IIT.

CCMT is providing admissions for IITs & NITs. How do we get seat in OU, JNTU or CBIT through GATE. Do we have to apply individually?

Not really. OU, JNTUH - admissions will be through TS PGECET. However GATE qualified candidates need not appear for the entrance test. They will have a separate application process and will be given preference over TS PGECET candidates. Applications will be common through TS PGECET website. Pls check that.

Ending up in IT with a good package is not really an option in IISERs. They are totally dedicated towards research and would serve you well if you focus in that particular area.

Considering your circumstance, I would recommend basic sciences at IITs, provided you get in.

DC Pandey is the best book for problems. DC Pandey has an awesome mix of questions of the different pattern. I don't think any other book is required for Physics. But, you could also try the MCQ Books from Bharti Bhawan if you need an additional book.
