Well you are eligible for IIT JAM and though there may be few questions related to maths but if you have basic understanding you will know it. But there are some institutes which may require Maths. So it is better you do a certificate course from an authentic site

No, you cannot get admission in NITs / IITs solely on the basis of marks obtained by you in12th board examination.

This is because,

12th qualification is just required to make you eligible for NITs/ IITs i. e one needs at least  75% marks in aggregate in class 12
