Hello applicant,
* GATE score is calculated out of 1000 while the GATE marks are calculated out of 100. A candidate who wishes to get direct admission into IISC/ IITs must try to score nearly 1000.
*And alos i wanna mention the qualifying marks in GATE exam is:-
* As per the information brochure, the minimum qualifying marks for the general category candidates usually in all the papers is 25 marks (out of 100) in each subject.
Hope it helpful.
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category . choice of stream etc.
however as per previous years closing score analysis some of the cutoff score was as follows,
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Computer Science and Engineering (5 Years, Bachelor and Master of Technology (Dual Degree)), closing rank 324
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur Mechanical Engineering with M.Tech. in any of the listed specializations (5 Years, Bachelor and Master of Technology (Dual Degree)), closing rank 4229.
Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad Computer Science and Engineering , closing rank 2089.
hope it would help.

you did not mention the score in gate 2020, also it depends on your category. however you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your probable college name,

*It is difficult to predict the exact marks because the total marks is not same for JEE Advanced, it changes every year so there is no unique answer to this. You need to minimum 25-30% of total marks to have decent chances of getting seat. In 2019 the cut off to qualify JEE Advanced for Open-PWD was 17.5% of aggregate and minimum 5% marks in individual subject this is going to change in 2020 depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available.
*And For rough idea, you can check previous year cutoff:-

Hello aspirant,
My opinion is that you can choose any one college between IIT Ropar and IIT Jodhpur because among the college list given by you the above two colleges are best to pursue CSE course. These two IIT'S have similar rating they are aligned with top MNC and e-commerce companies. The highest CTC is 40Lpa for both IIT'S.
These two IIT'S have good academics, excellent faculty and good placements.
If you are unable to choose among the above two IIT'S, then I prefer to IIT Jodhpur.
Choice us yours
Good luck.
I think you should go for Civil at IIT Madras. Even if you are interested in CSE, you will get a lot of options to pursue your interest at IITM. Being an Old IIT it provides you with a sea of opportunities. You can even study well in the first year and apply for a Branch Change to CSE or EE. Besides this IITM also has a provision for pursuing a Minor degree in some other Department besides majoring for your case in Civil Engineering. You should start developing new skills and mastering Technologies like ML, AI, Software and Data Science right from your First or perhaps Second year besides keeping up with Coursework in Civil and henceforth you can easily secure a Placement in a Top Software or Financial Technology Company like Microsoft, Nomura, Accenture Japan, Sony, P&G, Oracle, JPMC and so on.
Hello Vinod,
Unfortunately since you are a BA student and the institute you are talking about is IIT, as you have already seen the eligibility is Geology for three years/six semesters and any two subjects amongst Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science. Hence I am afraid there is no other way to join the course ,you may have to do BSc degree in Geology. Most of the other universities like Jadavpur University, Andhra University, Anna University etc have mentioned eligibility criteria as BSc in Geology or equivalent.Hence you may have to check with the respective department whether BA in Geography is accepted for the MSc programme. However there is one option for you which is integrated MSc Geology in IIT. Its a 5 year course though.
Hope it helps.

Hi aspirant
Consistency is the key to success. Choose quality over quantity of time. Cracking JEE Advance is not that easy but it's possible if you work smart along with the hardwork.
1. Make your concepts clear and work on your doubts.
2. Be thorough with NCERT preparation, make your own notes and REVISE. Give your maximum time to the subject you wish to improve.
3. Solve as many as previous year questions for better understanding of question pattern.
4. Dedicate quality of hours and be consistent. Don't let your study schedule be influenced by external factors and follow your time table punctually.
