hello sir, In my board result i get less than 75% but my percentile is 82 than I will able for admission into IIT or NIT.

You have to satisfy any one of them- either you should be within top 20 percentile or you have to secure a minimum 75% marks.
As you got less than 75% in your boards but you are in top 20 percentile, this makes you absolutely eligible.

Hello Aspirant,


According to the rules, in order to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs a candidate needs to score a minimum of 75% in their 12th boards or be in top 20 percentile of their respective board.

Hello aspirant

To be eligible for any NIT or IIT college you must score minimum 75% in PCM in board exam and 65% for reserved category . You must qualify for jee main for NIT and Jee advanced for IIT college. This comes under Eligibility criteria.

Going by previous years data, you have decent chances in:

NIT Srinagar: Mechanical System Design

NIT Arunachal Pradesh: Fluids and Thermal Engineering

NIT Mizoram: Thermal Engineering

NIT Durgapur: Metallurgy and Materials Engineering

IITs might be tad difficult. Having said that, this is 2019 data and cut iffs change every year
