see since you did not qualify the cutoff marks you are not eligible for counselling. however except iits, there is many good university is available in india which provides msc admission, like banaras hindu university, delhi university, calcutta university, central universities of India, you may also apply for this

Among IITs, IIT Bombay will be best option for your daughter but keep in mind NID is also one of the top Institute in India. If she can get that college then what could be the better option.

Since you need to apply separately for NITs and IITs of your choice you can avail EWS reservations while filling the application form for counselling.You need to have valid EWS certificate to claim reservations.Through CCMT you can apply for NITs and COAPT you can apply for IITs.
Based on this rank the chances might be there to get a seat in NITs, The cutoff varies to the programme & category wise so if you specify the programme, You wish to get admission & Category then I can help you better about the admission chance.

Seeing the trends of last year you might be able to get IIT Patna in the last round of seat allocation. And as for NIT s you will be able to get many of them leaving the top ranking one s. A small advice from my side please
