see cutoff score changes year to year and depends on lot of factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level etc, for general category student, if you have more than 750 gate score you have chances in iits for mtech , however it may changes year to year.

If you want admission in IIT then you should be give jEE advanced. Joint entrance exam advanced is common exam conduct for IIT admission. You should be first appear in JEE mains.

There are eligibility criteria for JEE advanced as:-
