My rank is 1832 in GATE AR 2019 paper. Can i have a chance in any of the IIT mainly Roorkee and Kharagpur ?

Hii Manu.Your rank is very good.As per the previous year cutoffs you have a good chance of getting both the IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.You can also apply for other good IITs such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Varanasi,etc.So,choose the College wisely and stay motivated.All the best.

If i get seat frm two different IITs and i chose one before the other, then can i give up my seat for the other one before the spot round?

Firstly there will be no spot round for iits.
Secondly, you will get only one option in your hand at a time..,  in jossa
You may get previous or better option by further participation in jossa.

If you want to secure a seat for IIIT 

You need to get 180 marks according to previous  year cutoffs 

If you want cse branch, which the most reputed branch of this college you need to get around 260

Previous year cut offs:

2015: 251,

Hii Sahil.If you have qualifed JEE Advanced but you not have enough marks to get admission into IITs then either you should apply for IISER or with the marks of JEE MAINS apply for NITs.If the JEE MAINS marks are good then you will get NITs.So, you should give IISER
