Indian Institute of Technology Indore
Hii shivendra,
In iit, indore placements are not known branch wise. But most of the students who are eligible to sit in placements are placed with average salary 16 lac. So overall you need not to worry about placement.
Good luck...
Hello,
If you got accepted the seed by IIT in the you have to approach the college that you are accepting at and fill the remaining forms and submit the remaining documents that is required for the for the process.
Sounds great if you can get a seat in IIT indore,as it is a govt institution, which offers high salary packages, placements etc. On the other hand, Jadhavpur University stands 84th place among the 200 best Asian Universities. Also it has got very good infrastructure and placements. It is one among the ten colleges which collaborated with the central research institutes.
NO need to go for lower IIT ,as you are sure of getting seat in any one of the above.
So go for it, and if still are in a confusion to whether to take IIT or Jadhavpur, and ONLY if you are particular about the location and distance, and if you are resident of West bengal ,go for Jadhavpur University,a public autonomous university. But an IITian will be an IITian always ,so if you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh local then dont leave the oppurtunity of getting into IIT.
IF you are having a dream to get into Jadhavpur university, then go for it for sure .
hope this helped you,ALL THE BEST :)
Regards,
SIRISHA SANATHA.
Hey Dhruv,
IIT Indore is one of the newer ones which had 2 temporary campuses before completely shifting to it's permanent campus in Simrol, which is approximately 25 kms from Indore city, in 2015. So currently, the campus has all the necessary amenities for it's small student strength. The hostel rooms are better than most universities . Pretty sure the construction will be fully completed in 2020.
Coming to the sports facilities, the campus has 2 TT tables, basketball & volleyball court, 1 badminton court and a cricket practice net. Hope this answered your questions.
Akunuri with your 100 marks in JEE Advance exam 2018 under the SC category with the previous data of marks vs rank distribution you can expect a rank to be around 1000 in your SC category and which is expected to get better with the fall in the JEE Advanced cut-off due to increase in difficulty in the paper and a paper without any errors as last year 18 marks were given to each student due to error in the questions.
So, if you are able to get a rank in the range stated above then you can surely get admission in one of the new IITs and maybe if the luck favours then in one of the non-conventional branches of one of the old IITs.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
