As you have not mentioned the caste,I will consider you as general . According to previous years cutoffs anything between 450-700 will get you to the IIT Kharagpur.So, prepare well for the Gate,if not given.It's a prestigious college where you have the opportunity to only excel .

let me tell you the addmission is based on the rank not on the JEE mark nor the percentile as per the last year cut off the opening rank was 254 and closed rank under SC was 655
