But in Kharagpur Electrical Engineering students are emphasized to learn about Electirical Machines only. There are other courses such as Control Systems and Embedded Systems but their course content is neither

There are chances that you might get admission in IIT kHARAGPUR in electrical branch. Because if we look 2017 cut off for electronicals for sc it was around 264. So, if this year it goes a bit down than you can get admission. But also if look 2016 cut

Go for IITG CS. It's too gud to miss. IIT Kgp has huge batch size. If u can be sure of your CGPA then u can go for it. But then again CSE is CSE..
