After counselling based on rank in JEE advance, you are allotted your preferred branch and college. After that you need to pay fees nearly in last july.

Then are fair chances in getting IIT. But you need to qualified jee advanced. Jee advanced score is used for getting admission in iits.You have a good chance to get good branch also.
