It totally depends on your branch like for electrical engineering for admissions into IITs minimum rank should be around 1400-1500 for mtech after then chances are very less. The data is almost same for mechanical engineering students also but not for CSE, IT etc.

All the IITS ARE good for msc course and it depends on the subject you want to do msc in, but overall iit kharagpur, iit kanpur and iit roorkee are the best among the all but still if you can tell me the subject I can tell you

No, 2581 rank will not fetch you a seat in IIT Madras through IIT Jam. With the rank of 2581 you can't IIT Madras even if you have sc quota. If you have st quota then you can get top old IITs like IIT delhi, madras with this
