IIT madras department of physics conduct various research like experimental solid state physics,optical and laser physics and also various aspects of theoretical and computational physics. you can apply this course after complete your higher secondary education the selection process is going through JEE.It consist of 10 semester.If you wants to take admission on that courses it will good choice.

Hello student IIT Madras is one of the top IIT In India. To get admission in IIT MADRAS. candidates need to appear in Jee main and advance. Admission is on the basis of JEE advance rank.
Eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board
Application form for jee main April examination starts from 07th of February and extended till 12th of March 2020.

As per the eligibility criteria to get admission into IIT Madras candidate should score minimum 75 percentage for in the top 20 percentile of that board if he or she belongs to OBC general category and if a student is from SC ST category then you should discover minimum 65 percentage marks to take admission into IIT.

No, you can't get admission in IIT Madras or even nay of the IITs on the basis of JEE Main result.
You are required to appear for JEE advance in order to be eligible for admission in IITs. You can take admission in NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs like Punjab college of Engineering, JNU and others on the basis of rank in JEE Main.

IIT Madras takes the admission through JEE Advanced for Dual Degree Aerospace Engineering. You need to appear for JEE Main Entrance Exam after qualify the exam you need to appear JEE Advanced and after that you need to apply for JOSSA counseling.
As per the eligibility Criteria you should have minimum 60% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in board examination and JEE(Main) & JEE (Advanced).

GATE is the entrance exam for admission to Masters programmes for Engineering and Science Graduates. JEE Advanced is the entrance exam for admission to IITs, NITs,etc. for B.Tech programmes. GATE is for PG courses and JEE Advanced is for B.Tech courses. Both of them are different.
