Yes, you can join the M.Sc integrated program at PSG.

According to the PSG  College Of Technology ,its offers two  M.Sc Integrated programmes of 5 years duration.

1. Integrated M.Sc programmes of 5 years in :-

• Software system
• Theoretical computer science
• Data science

2.  Integrated M.Sc program of 5 years in :-

• Fashion Design and Merchandising

And here is the eligibility criteria which surely help you in taking decision

So for admission in Integrated M.Sc programmes of 1st list i.e Software system,Theoretical computer science,Data science you should have an an excellent academic record in Higher Secondary examination of the (10+2) curriculum prescribed by the appropriate authority of the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other exam recognised as equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as two of the subjects of study.

And for the 2nd list course  i.e Fashion Design and Merchandising a student should had  passed in the Higher Secondary examination of the (10+2) curriculum (ANY GROUP) prescribed by the appropriate authority of the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other exam recognised as equivalent. Students will be admitted by counselling.

The application for admission can be filled in both online and offline format.

You can directly fill the online application through official website of the PSG institute there you have fill and upload all required information and documents for identification and submit the application fee online.

For offline you have to download application and dully filled then submitted along with the demand as directed by the PSG all details are there in website.

For Software system,Theoretical computer science,Data science course the Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online test (list will be published on 27-May-2019  www.psgtech.edu) at PSG TECH Campus and those who clear the online test have to attend an interview.

And for Fashion Design and Merchandising students will be admitted by counselling.

The application for Five Year Integrated M.Sc (SS / TCS / DS / FD&M) should be filled or submitted before 23 may 2019 according PSG scheduled dates.

It is very important to score good marks in GATE and what you are going for is AIR 1. You need to relax, eat well, sleep well and have a lot of faith and confidence in what you are doing. Revise as much as possible. Remember, GATE Question patterns do repeat in all years so make yourself through with Previous year Papers. As they say that practice makes the man perfect, so you also need to practice a lot to crack GATE with a high score.

Dear candidate, for IIT MADRAS your rank should be less than 3.7k.  As per the previous year cut offs this rank fetched seat for GEN category in CIVIL ENGINEERING.

For SC it was 1.5K. Likewise for OBC and ST, it was 2.6k and 709 respectively.

Amy ranks below them would certainly create high chances of you to get seat in IIT MADRAS. Having said that cut offs change every year as they depend on various factors like number of students appeared, highest score, lowest score etc.
