Indian Institute of Technology Madras
hi!
older IITs namely IIT Kharagpur ,IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras and IIT Guwahati are generally considered as good IITs.
For getting into any of these 7 IITS, with a decent branch such as "CS, EE, ECE(Only in IIT KGP), Mech, and others too." you need a minimum marks 200 out of 360.
This will give you a general rank under 2500 which can help you get in those 7 IITs.
Don't be so sure about the marks because last year even with 250 marks out of 504, people are in Mech, IIT madras
Hello Jaswin,
As we all know that IIT MADRAS is one of the top and well known institute in India.
The placement percentages are also good in this institute for all the branches. If we talk about the Aerospace Engineering branch then the salary of freshers depends on 2 things:
1.if you did UG course then your starting salary package will range between 5-7 lakhs per annum.
2.if you have completed PG course your starting salary package will range between 10-11 lakhs per annum and also you can get a government job by this.
hope this may help you.
Hello
The eligibility criteria to sit in campus placement for above-mentioned companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and any other tech giants will be around 7 to 7.5 not more than that, in some IITs, these companies keep 6 CGPA as the cut-off.
The above companies usually prefer the students from Computer science, Mathematics and Computing, Electronics and Communication Engineering. But few companies don’t care about your branch but just your coding skills matter the most
The above companies are a product based so they don’t much concentrate on CGPA they just want you to be very tough in programming knowledge for Software roles
The main thing to get placed in the top company is your profile this means usually these type of companies picks up the students from IIT/NIT/IIIT and few reputed colleges. (Pick up in the sense these institutions students will have more opportunities but not guaranteed he/she will be get placed in these companies)
It does not mean that a student from normal colleges will not get placed it is that a student from normal engineering college should work hard more than an IITian,NITian or BITsian.
So work hard on programming skills.!
As you know that any company needs not only technical but also non-technical roles like a Business analyst, Business development, Manager etc for that go the particular website and apply if you are eligible.in
Hello Aspirant,
Your rank in IPU CET for BBA is not quite well. But still there are many colleges you may get admission in. Delhi Institue of Advanced Studies is a decent college. You can easily get better colleges than this. So I would suggest you to wait for further round of counselling. Considering last year's cutoff colleges you may get admission in are mentioned below:
Hii,
As far as I know Indian institute of Technology Madras does not offer Bachelor of Business Administration Course. Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University offers BBA course in different Specializations. But the placements in this college for BBA are not good enough. You need MBA for better placements.
hello aspirant,
nothing is easy on any stream. you need to work hard to get a good score.
The IIT Preparatory Course comprises of courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English for two semesters after which the candidates are evaluated.
Hello Prateek,
IITM is a very nice college for BBA with good placements and good college life. The college life of IITM is pretty good, it is in Janakpuri which is a good place to hang out after or while college hours. The placements through the college are also up to mark. Overall, completing your graduation through IITM is a very good option.
All The Best.
