JEE Advanced consists of two papers, Paper - 1 and Paper - 2 which are compulsory. You need to attempt both the papers. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 contains Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects.

You can get IITs or NITs with your score in Graduation. To get into IITs or NITs  minimum 60 percentage (55 percentage for reservation category candidates) in B.E/ B.Tech from a recognised College or University.

Apart from that you must have valid GATE score to get admission into IITs or NITs.

Dear applicant considering the honest scenario of the inner educational atmosphere of the Colleges unless you get IIM Lucknow, Ahmedabad or Kolkata, it is not that satisfactory to take admission in the other ones. Yes , it is definitely possible for a student to get enrolled in IIT Madras program for data science along with any other course.

Since you are pursuing Btech in CSE you can easily get enrolled since program is completely online and anyone can pursue it easily. Its just that you should have a stable internet connection since a student will be provided with prerecorded lecture.

along with this as far as Burden is concerned, as stated by the faculty of IIT Madras in order to perform well you need to dedicate 10 hrs. per week which means if you are doing the course on a part time basis you can easily complete the course in 3 to 4 years , thus you can pursue the course if you are ready to devote around 1.5 to 2 hrs. per day and complete the assignments on time , this will help you a lot in the future.

For getting an admission in BTech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering you will have to write both papers of Jee Advanced after you have qualified your mains. This is a BTech course so the exam is same as for any other branch of engineering that you undertake at IIT.
