In order to take admission in IITs you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.

To be eligible for JEE Advanced exam you have to qualify for JEE Main exam first. To be eligible for IITs you should have 75% marks in your boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile for general category.

For SC/ST it is 65% marks.

IIT mandi is still no ready to start a new course... They are not ready to plan a new course .So , at this moment there are no chances ..

• Candidates are required to register using a valid email ID and password.

• After registration, login credentials will be sent by email ID. Candidates need to validate and verify it for logging in.

• Once logged in, candidates will have to enter their personal and academic details and upload their recent passport size photograph in the given format.

• If the candidate is applying for M.Tech programme, then he or she has to select the GATE discipline in which he or she has qualified GATE or equivalent examination. • Candidates are then required to choose the specialization from the dropdown menu in order of their preference.

• After adding required programme details click Save & Next button to move to Entrance Exam section.

• Select appropriate qualified entrance examination. Enter the year of appearing in the examination. Mention the year till which the score card will be valid. Enter the score (for GATE, out of 1000) and the rank you secured.

• Check the application form thoroughly and submit it.

Yes, it is good for completing your M.Tech programme. Most of the IIT Mandi alumni have been hired by the country’s top employers.
