Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
Hi there!
I would say IIT Roorkee civil department. When the school was opened in 1847, it had been solely for the aim of engineering , hence, the oldest engineering department in India. It has few of India’s best engineering faculties also as labs and instruments.
Thanks
Hello. IIT Madras has a very good reputation unlike other IITs. It comes under tier 1 university.
When you talk about the branch preference then it totally depends on your interest as well as about what you are passionate about. So choose wisely.
Now coming to mechanical from IIT madras, it offers you wide range of dual degree options, placements better and faculties is far better than IIT Roorkee.
And future prespective for both field is the same. Because both are important to mankind life. So don't worry about that, just concentrate on what will make you happier while learning.
Abroad options for both IITs is the same. Just your percentage and Mark's will play important role while getting admission in universities abroad.
Hope that helps!
hello
IIT ROORKEE is widely known for it's metallurgy branch. The overall average salary for metallurgy is 7.5 lacks per annum. The faculty provides quality teaching and the infrastructure is also very good.
IIT GOA
the first placement would be conducted from 2020 as it is established in 2016. It's faculty is also not very good compared to IIT ROORKEE.
So according to me you should go for metallurgy in IIT ROORKEE over electrical engineering in IIT GOA.

hi,
see geological technology course syllabus is more technical oriented and it has wide coverage of technical domain applied in geological science. however coming to the institute placement and opportunity IIT kharapur comes ahead since it rank is under top five iits of India. also placement, research and lab structures is far better in IIT kharagpur. so in that point of view I would prefer to put iit kharagpur msc geology course ahead.
hope it would help.
