Hi, IOCL cut off for the year 2018 for civil engineering was :

• For General Category - 64%
  
• For OBC - 63%
  
• For SC - 51.67%
  
• For ST - 51.33%
  

There might be chances that you can get through BEML, NPCIL, NTPC and CEL! Good luck!!

Dear Dheeraj, you needn't pay any application fees to Indian Oil separately. Once you register with your GATE application number and other details, you get your Registration number. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their GATE score are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final selection will be based on the overall performance.

This year gate paper for electrical stream was simpler in comparison to previous years.Cuttoff of PSUs and IITs may go high this year.But you can expect PSUs call letter as you are from SC category.Your gate score will be around 675-720.To get call letter from PSUs you need at least 600 score under SC category.For sureity wait till all PSUs declares own cuttoff score for each category.

Yeah...you have some chances with IOCL since in the  last year, the cutoff for Sc category is about 54 for civil engineering.And if you were a genaral or an OBC category there is no chance.for knowing last year cutoff for various psu's go to

ST-44.84

you have got 68 marks in gate 2018.so you have a chance to get IOCL.
