Hello sir/madam, I am currently in 12th standard. Am I eligible for appearing for ISI entrance test this year?

Dear Arka,

The Applicants who are eligible for the entrance exam are the students who have the three year Bachelor degree or four year be/btech degree. So as you are in 12th standard so you are not eligible for the entrance exam.

Yes, there is a category wise reservation in ISI.

Following is the number of seats available for different categories for Bachelor’s courses:

Total seats : 50

General : 25

OBC-NCL : 14

SC : 7

ST : 4

As per my knowledge and Research ,  ISI Kolkata has a centralised placement cell which is operated by the students of various streams and mentored by some faculty members. Due to which the placement scenario is very good.

There are a total of 50 seats available for B.Math course at ISI.

Out of 50 seats, 25 are reserved for the General category candidates, 14 are reserved for OBC-NCL category candidates, 7 are reserved for SC category candidates and the rest 4 are reserved for ST category candidates.

Hello.
There is no big difference between UGA nad UGB actually these both are exam codes where UGA means undergraduate paper part A and UGB means Undergraduate paper part B , in ISI Exam UGA contains multiple choice questions and UGB contains short answer type questions.

The exam will be conducted online. It contains 4 different units:

  1. Algebra
  2. Geometry
  3. Trigonometry
  4. Calculus

Inorder to write the test the student has to have completed 12th grade and should have passed in mathematics and English
