You'll get BSc Major in any subject if you complete 48 credits in the chosen subject as per the norms of IGNOU, for instance if you complete 48 credits in physics you'll be awarded with BSc Major in Physics and the same will reflect in your marksheet and degree

Regular course is ranked better than distance course. Distance study is considered better for masters degree as during that interval one may prepare for job or may do some job or engaged at certain work.

Hello student no matter if you're enrolled online or offline but now it's mandatory to submit the assignment online only offline assignment will not be accepted from 12th April 2020. So yes you can submit your assignments online on the official website of IGNOU.
