Dear,
IGNOU conducts classes on weekends only and there is no such attendance criteria there. You can study on your own with the materials provided by them.
But it is advised to attend some practical classes as it can help you to clarify your doubt in relation to practicals and can raise your confidence level. Rest is your choice.
Hope it helps!

Hey!
Both IGNOU and DU are well known education centres and offers quality education. But IGNOU has varous centres of education in all over India as well as in foreign contries, so here is a plus point that you can choose the centre as per your convienence whereas DU is only located in Delhi. Also, the Fee of DU is high that IGNOU. IGNOU accepts scores of entrance exams such as IGNOU OPENMAT , NCHMCT JEE etc to offer admission to candidates in different courses offered by it.
Hope it helps to clear your delimma.
Thankyou
Hello aspirant! Hope you are doing well! You haven't mentioned the course which you are willing to pursue. Colleges tend to have specialisation and high reputation in specific courses. Reputation IGNOU is a well-known university across Asia. DU is also a famous university in India and often finds a spot among the top universities ranking in India.
Presence IGNOU has pan-India presence and also has study centres abroad. Delhi University is located in New Delhi and candidates pursuing a regular course need to be in the national capital to pursue their course.
study material IGNOU courses is vaster and contains all the information in an easy to understand format. DU courses is adequate but students need to rely more on self-study while pursuing any course.
fee range IGNOU courses is approximately from Rs 2,400 to Rs 64,800. DU courses is approximately from Rs 3,000 to Rs 81, 570.
IGNOU is open university and DU is Delhi University. So if you want to distance study then go for open university but if you want to continuous study then go for Delhi University. Both courses are same but continuous study is better for my acknowledgement.
All the best.
You haven't mentioned you took admission in which cycle, nevertheless if you have paid for June term end exam already of this year, and for you couldn't give it for some reasons then your exam fees will get adjusted for December term end exam which is scheduled to take place in the month of February next year, however if you haven't done any payment for June TEE, then you have to do the payment in order to appear for December Term End Exam.
