Does the course of industrial design include mathematics?
Dear aspirant, B.Des in Indsutrial Design doesn't include mathematics as one of the subjects but you will require basic mathematics while designing of a product. This includes mainly the Geometry part. Knowing the dimensions of a product and designing it according to the need is very important.
You will mainly be concentrating on designing subjects and the software related to them so complex mathematics won't be introduced to you in this course.
All the best
Hope this helps
My Son is studying in 12th Standard in CBSE. He is interested in joining Btech, Product design/ Industrial Design course. Suggest me a Product design course/ College with Engineering background
there is two option available. either he can go for engineering stream where designing are involved. or he can directly go for bachelor in design course. there is two entrance exam available by that he can join bachelor in design course. one is NID and another is AIEED exam. there is some engineering stream available where you can learn about integrated circuit designing, modelling etc. these are electrical eng. electronics and communication engineering, instrumentation engineering.
top design colleges and institution are-
national institute of design , ahmedabad.
IDC, IIT Bombay.
NIFT , Delhi
Pearl academy.

What are all the differences between Engineering Master courses in the following:
This all courses you will come across doing B Tech in Mechanical. Now all this courses are related to each other you cant skip any of the subjects as its concept might help you in your industry life.
Now coming to the point, Product design, CAD,Integrated Manufacturing Design,Mechatronics all are the digitalised subjects of Mechanical Engineering. This all subjects are the recent trends in the industries. So to cop up with the industries you need to understand the basic concept and also to implement it in practical life.Masters of the above mentioned courses will help you to be Specialized on the subject and you can work as aa team man in the industries.I would suggest as per the current trends are concerned, you should choose Mechatronics as it is a budding subject and also very much interesting as well.
Good Luck!!

I am doing industrial design engineering in nit rourkela.how can join in software company with good package
It is very very important that you have a good knowledge of all the important computer science subjects as only then a software company will hire you. Subjects like data structures and algorithms, computer organization and architecture all play a major role.
Also the base of IT is coding.
Just knowing basic coding will just not be enough.
C, C#, Java, Ruby, Python all need to be in good command.
Hope you will make it through.
All the best.
Hope this helps.
In EWS category I got industrial design engineering in nit rkl.i upgrade and want civil or electrical can get it.my ews rank 5756
Hello aspirant,
Congratulations first of all for clearing India's most ssought out competitive examination, and securing a seat.
Now coming to your question ,i would suggest you to wait till the last round of counselling. As anything can happen on last round because few people may withdraw, and few will require a change in seat, you might stand a chance in counselling.
All the best for your successful career.

Which is better branch in nit rourkela- industrial design or biotechnology engineering?
Hello dear candidate.

Depending on your liking and capabilities, you must cautiously choose your field of interest.
Which is better- IT(dual) in iiit gwalior or industrial design in nit rourkela ?
Hey harshita!
Industrial design at NIT rourkela is a good option . But when it comes to compare between indusstrial design at NIT rourkela and IT dual in IIIT gwalior because the foremost reason is that the latter has a much better future scope than the former. As IT forms the base of software and technology companies and the placements in IIIT gwalior are also good , so you can expect good placements from Iiit gwalior after this course. But you can not expect any placements for industrial design at NIT rourkela . You can only get a job after higher studies.
Hope it helps!
