Industrial Design
Hello,You can absolutely change the major for your masters. If you want a masters degree in Mechanical engineering with a bachelors in Industrial design, it is absolutely possible. You will have to appear for GATE Mechanical engineering. Good Luck!
Hi
Well this is a tough decision and definitely you have to take this.
Firstly, if you want to study a Core Branch then definitely Mechanical Engineering will suffice. Then you must go ahead with Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra.
If you want to study in a good, rank holder NIT then, NIT Rourkela is fit for you. But again, go with this option only and only if you want to learn Industrial Engineering or if maybe you don't have any kind of inclination towards any branch.
This choice making is tough because you are getting a Core and trending Branch in NIT Kurukshetra while a relatively lower desired Branch at one of the best NITs, i.e., NIT Rourkela. Think wisely and carefully.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hello,
Kindly mention which branch you want to get.
Also you can wait for further rounds if you are not satisfied with branch you got in 1st round .
In later rounds let’s say till round 3,4 it can upgrade and then you can lock if you are satisfied .
It may also upgrade in next round .
Check the previous years cutoff to get better idea.
