which is better among these msc virology,MSc applied microbiology,MSc industrial microbiology and MSc microbiology.. please give suggestion to apply pgcet 2021

Hello Teja,

All the subjects mentioned above are excellent and have almost equal probability of popping up in your PG-CET exam.

However if you find yourself evoked by the idea of viral replication or its mode of transmission then you should go for M.Sc. Virology.

But if medical microbiology attracts you the most then Applied Microbiology would help you score better marks.

Similarly, if you find exploitation of microbes for industrial use beneficial and intersting then you should opt for that.

However if you're still confused then go according  the weightage criteria or cut-off criteria for your respective subject of choice.

The college you have attached in your question does not offer industrial design engineering course, so I would request you to please mention the name of your desired University offering the same course, so that we can check the admission procedure and  eligibility criteria of that particular college, Mahatma Gandhi mission's Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College offers various other 26 courses.

This course mainly focuses on various aspects of industrial microbiology like Molecular biochemistry ,Molecular biology,Bio-engineering .This study basically involves large scale production of micro-organisms for their direct use. Its basically very high in demand and innovative course

Prospects for production and industrial engineering from iit Delhi?

Hello student,

Production and Industrial Engineering is an interesting course to pursue from IIT Delhi.
Admission to the couree is based on entrance test JEE.,

Last year, more than 90 percentage of students were placed. Top recruiting companies were FMCGs( Fast Moving Consumer Goods). Top roles offered were of analyst. The highest packages were close to 20 lakh per annum(CTC).

You can choose any of them as both were good colleges.

But you need to think over your area of interest is it Industrial Engineering or Electrical and Communications Engineering.

I have discussed the placements records for each institutions according to your mentioned branch, hope it helps you;

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING - CET => More than 80% of the students have been placed in various companies from the campus in recent academic year. Companies like MRF, Royal Enfield, Saint Gobain, Amazon, Byju's, Wipro, Mu Sigma, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, etc., visited the college for recruitment. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The highest salary package offered here was about 7 LPA.

ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING - MEC => About 60-70% of students get placements in the college every year. According to recent recruitment, the highest package was of about 7 Lakhs, the lowest being 3 Lakhs and the average being 5 Lakhs. Top Recruiting Companies were Bosch, Kalkitech, etc.
