The Job Opportunities for a M.Sc. Microbiologist is available in many fields! You can try for posts like Scientist, Research Assistant, Technical Assistant, Field Assistant, or Project Assistant in Agriculture, Environment, Food Processing, etc,. laboratories under ICAR and CSIR. You can apply for UPSC, SSC, Railway and Bank Jobs if you are very much goverment oriented. You can also ear NET and become an Assistant Professor in any Agriculture, Horticulture based University!

Can an industrial microbiology student apply csir net

Dear student,
Yes you are eligible for csir net if you have done msc in industrial microbiology. There are five main divisions:
  • Life science
  • Chemical science
  • Earth science
  • Mathematics
  • Physical science
You need to choose the correct division when you apply and then mention your stream in the subcategory. The eligibility criteria for msc students says that candidates from general / general-EWS and OBC must hold anM.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks in order to be eligible for CSIR UGC NET.
So if you fulfil the eligibility criteria then you would ve eligible for csir net.

Hello, Gate Chemistry with code CY doe snot include the above mentioned courses. You can check out the official syllabus from this link http://www.gate.iitg.ac.in/Syllabi/CY_Chemistry.pdf

While industrial exam is code PI, Biochemistry is XL-Q and gate exam for a pharmacy student is PY.

Getting a job in google depends mostly on your knowledge and skills that you acquire during college time. Getting a good college preferably IITs, NITs, IIITs would increase your chances of getting placed at Google.
Try to get a good cgpa, Google visits these colleges every year. Also, even if you did not get into a college where Google comes for placements, try to acquire relevant skills and apply through direct recruitment which are opened on the Google official website frequently.
