You can apply to government colleges in other states under 15% AIQ. Based on your marks, chances are less of admission to Government Medical colleges in Tamil Nadu under 15% AIQ.

For Civil engineering, the average package is 6 lacs while the highest package is 20 lacs. Accenture, Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, L&T, Wipro are some of the comapnies that offer placements.
For industrial engineering, the average package is 3.4 lacs

My suggestion to you would be , being a mechanical engineer graduate you should opt for MTech rather than choosing MBA , if you get a good experience after doin MTech you would definately get salary hike in you domain.
