Dear aspirant,
It is quite difficult to predict your possibility in SASTRA as it depends on the number of students applying for the courses and how their performances are.
Based on previous year trends even to get in via JEE stream, you'll need a board percentage of 95 +., Hence we can say it is quite difficult for you to get ICT in SASTRA. You have a decent chance of getting Civil/chemical/ biotechnology in SASTRA in the last rounds.
You can get ICT via NRI quota if you are eligible for it.
All of these are predictions and we don't have any official cutoffs from the university hence, don't blindly trust this. If you are passionate about ICT, please keep other options open as well.
Hope this helps.
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.

See in most of the IT companies, there are usually strict restrictions regarding the Gap year. Now you don't have a gap year, instead it required you much longer to clear all the necessary examination. So you will be eligible for most of the companies. Now if you have a good coding skill & communication skills then it would be easier for you to get a software job in any company. Although, during the selection process, they will ask regarding the delay & you should make a good answer about it. The more convincing a answer you can provide them regarding your delay in passing the BTech course, the more probability will be for you to get a job.

Thank you
C.S.E. stands for Computer Science Engineering. In IT, you will largely learn about hardware specifications, whereas in C.S.E, you will read about both hardware and software. If you look at the ground zero reality, both are completely based on your interest and knowledge. If you have an interest in either of the fields listed above, you will receive a handsome salary in a good MNC such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and so on.
So it's just about your interest, the scope in both the field is very good in future.
Hope this information helps you.
Hi ,
If you have RT in one subject that means you have to repeat theory of that subject. CBSE provides an opportunity for those students who have got RT in subject for writing compartment exam in one subject. Since you have rt in maths, you have to write compartment exam and pass in that subject.
The eligibility criteria for BSC information technology is Candidates who have completed 10+2 from a recognized council or university . Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2 are eligible to apply. Some colleges prefer candidates with Computer Science/ Statistics as compulsory subjects. Since the eligibility criteria says that candidates should have passed their 12th, you have to pass in mathematics. Also mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects mentioned above. After making your status in maths subject as passed you can apply for BSC information technology.
Thank you.
