Hello Student,
The answer is no , Potassium and Carbon never react with each other neither is sunlight nor in darkness. No such compound formed by reaction between potassium and carbon has been identified.
This maybe due to the fact that electronegativity difference between potassium and carbon is not sufficient enough to cause an exchange of electrons or cause a chemical reaction.

Hi Naina,
ipbs has released the notifications for filling the vacancies in rrb for posts if both groupA officer's posts (scale 1,2 and 3) as well as groupB office assistant posts.
The dates for registration are from 18th June 2019 onwards.
One can apply for both these posts of officer as well as office assistant because dates of exams are different for both so one can easily appear in the exams for both the groups.
But, in case of groupA officer's posts one can only choose any one grade scale from 1,2or3, and not for all the scales at a single time.
So ultimately, yes you can apply both for the posts of group A officer's posts as well as for posts of group B assistant officer.
But you have to register separately by paying separate fees for both the post's exams.
Good luck.
