After JU one should choose in the order :CU CSE> CU ECE> CU IT> KGEC CSE = CU Instru > KGEC ECE > KGEC IT> KU IT > IEM CSE> IEM ECE > KU Instru > Heritage CSE>Heritage  ECE... After JU CU there's huge gap when it comes to education quality and infrastructure ... research yourself, talk to immediate passout or student currently studying in these institutes to get an accurate picture...

Hello saif, I'll suggest you to go for IEM. The placement is quite good and companies like TCS, CTS, etc., visit the college for placements to recruit more than half of the students.Faculty in IEM, Kolkata is good , the faculty in this college is good and far better than any other faculty of other private colleges in West Bengal. Most of the faculty are aged and experienced one.

Hello Satyajit, an electrical engineer from IEM kolkata gets an average package of 3-5 LPA through recruitment. If the company is a mass recruitor like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc package can be on an average 3-3.5 LPA whereas companies like PWC would offer a package of 7-8 LPA. Also if you land an internship in the 3rd year, chances of getting a pre placement offer from that company increases manifold and the package is slightly higher in that case than from direct campus recuitments in the final year
