Hi Bibhay Singh, If it's lateral entry in engineering then u must have a diploma in engineering or BSc with maths.

If u can fulfill dis criteria then you can go for WBJEE, JELET exam through which u can get admission in IEM, Kolkata in ECE stream.

i m sorry to say you rank is quite high to meet the requirements of this college while i suggest you just apply for it in every round in case you might get but as per last year cut off in mechanical closing rank is 6928 to know

JELET is for admission in 2nd year of B.Tech that is Lateral Entry. If you have completed your diploma with good percentage and you scored well in JELET then you are eligible for IEM.

IEM is the best private college in West Bengal. It has got the best faculty, decent placement, decent infrastructure, sufficient facilities and gives the highest package then all the Pvt colleges in West Bengal.IEM has no comparison with any other Pvt college, at least in West Bengal.
