I don't think so that Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology have any of their exam centre in Uttar Pradesh.

Ho Shreya, Getting IEM might be a bit difficult as the closing rank was around 10,000 at IEM. Still, you should try for IEM. However, Haldia and Techno India you should get an admission offer with this rank. Thanks. Hope this helps.

For admission in IEM, Kolkata through WBJEE in the Computer science branch, the opening rank was 4575 and the closing rank was 101,580. Considering your rank you seem to have a fair chance.

Yes, he might be able to get into IEM, in the aforementioned branch, because even in round 1 itself the cutoff went till 36k. So, you need to stay tuned for the counseling updates of the college.
Yes you can get the admission in b.tech/ BCA/ BBA /m.tech/ m.sc/ mba course through IEMJEE. Online form submitted in Feb and admit card issued in April . online & offline exam.in April or may result declared in June .
