I got 60 percentile in CAT 2018. Can i get BHU FMS? any other good college based on this ercentile?

manisha.gupta 10th Jan, 2019

Based on this score the chances are less to get a call from FMS BHU, You can have the chances for the colleges Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata, Veltech Business School, Chennai, Universal Business School, Raigad, Universal Business School, Raigad, EMPI, New Delhi etc. You can check your other best possibilities with CAT Pathfinder Tool.

Although the final round of selection process may not carry a very high weightage and a shortlist is almost a confirmation to final admission offer, a good performance in GD/WAT and PI rounds would strengthen your admission chances.

Good Luck!

Are engineering students eligible for mba in FMS BHU?

Soumya Ranjan Bal 5th Nov, 2018
Hello,
Hope your preparations are going well. Coming to your question, yes FMS BHU does acknowledge Engineering candidates. The only way in to FMS is through CAT. Its Intake in 106 with fees as low as 75,000 where as the average salary reaches 8 LPA. So you must apply to this college keeping in mind the Returns on Investment it provides. And one more thing, you need to target above 85 percentile in CAT to be on a safe side of getting into this college.

Hope this will be useful to you.
All the Best!

My graduation will be completed in may 2019. When i can apply for the admission?????

Vikas Gaur 8th Aug, 2018

Hi Krity

Final year graduation students can apply for admission to FMS (BHU). The admissions are done on the basis of CAT score conducted by IIMs. You would need to appear for CAT 2018 exam on November 25, 2018. If you qualify the test, you will be shortlisted for GD and PI conducted by the institute. The final admission offer will be given to the students on the basis of their overall performance in all the selection rounds – CAT 2018 score (50% weightage) + GD and PI (30% weightage) and Past academic Records (20% weightage). The application forms are usually available from August to November every year.

What is preparatory course in iit

lakshmi prabha 21st Jun, 2018

Dear Syed,

The vacant seats reserved for SC, ST and PwD candidates will be allotted to the candidates of respective categories for admission to a preparatory course of one-year duration on the basis of relaxed admission criteria .

Admission is given to the candidates in the preparatory course provided (i) the seats reserved for the respective category are vacant, (ii) candidates have not accepted a seat in the preparatory course earlier.

All the IITs will run preparatory courses of one year duration for SC, ST and PwD candidates intended to prepare them to pursue the academic program (for session 2017-18) to which they have been allocated. At the end of this course, candidates are declared as ‘pass’ or ‘fail’.

On successful completion of the course, the candidates will be offered direct admission in July 2018 (Academic Year 2018-19) to the already allotted undergraduate course.

Candidates admitted to the preparatory course are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2018 subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria.

Filling-in of choices for preparatory courses is through the same online portal.
