Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad
Hi Anil
Placements in this college are good but not best. Different packages are offered . Companies like TCS , Sony Ericsson, Samsung etc visit for placement. Average salary offered is around 2-3 lacs.
Faculty members are helpful and friendly. Also, there is a placement cell that is quite supportive and take care of training for placements.
All The Best!
Hello Aspirant.
My view on your query is that is depends what actually you are looking for. I suggest you that kindly just don't focus the placement or packages to judge about the college. You should consider the factors like teaching pedagogy, value added skill development programs, faculty and industry interface program. On all these parameters you will find that IMS Ghaziabad is a good option among all these colleges. When it comes to Placements, it totally depends on students quality and training imparted to them and the kind of opportunity which they gets during campus placements. IMS Ghaziabad has wide variety of companies for placements with wonderful salary packages and profiles as well. I am very sure, even if you perform at average, you can expect good placements at IMS Ghaziabad Above all, if you see the scenario of B-Schools in North India, IMS Ghaziabad is GOOD OPTION.
Hope this will help you.
All the best for your future.

Hi,
IMS Indore looks little difficult with the CMAT score you have. You can still check there, but I would suggest that you keep your options open. Check Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. They have excellent facility & infrastructure, good faculty (80% of them are from IIMs), good grooming program for students and excellent placement. They give 100% placement with leading Indian and MNC companies. They also have best in class Global immersion program in Singapore.
Good thing is that Woxsen considers a number of paramters, an not only the CMAT score. It also looks at the written communication, interview performance and overall profile of the candidate. The college also gives good scholarship to the selected students.
So if you are thinking to pursue Management, consider Woxsen School of Business. Check their website and YouTube videos. All the best.

Hi Rittick, it entirely depends on your interest, capability to manage mocks and the amount you can spare. Basically as far as I researched, the students choice is all around IMS, CL and Time mock only which give quality test which are at par to the level of exam. Cracku is ok, but not the level par of the above mentioned three. But if you feel you could manage time and practise more, then you can go for it.
Hello Shivansh,
Among the colleges that you have mentioned, SDIMD, Mysore and IMS, Ghaziabad are almost at par and M.S. Ramaiah, Bangalore and FMS IIRM, Jaipur are also at par. But SDIMD, Mysore and IMS, Ghaziabad are better than M.S. Ramaiah, Bangalore and FMS IIRM, Jaipur.
Hope this helps. All the best!
