    UBS Chandigarh is UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL located in Chandigarh is affiliated to Panjab University & UBS Mumbai is UNIVERSAL BUSINESS SCHOOL a private B school located in Karjat,Mumbai was established in 2008. So they are 2 different colleges altogether.

   Talking about UBS Mumbai it offers MBA+PGDM programme, MBA for working executives, & PGPM+PGCM programmes. I will give some details of the course MBA+PGDM in next paragraph.

   MBA+PGDM programme is of 15 month duration about which you have enquired. It is offering the degree in alliance with Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.The specialisations offered are Finance, Marketing, HR, & General Management. The course includes 3 months internship also. One can apply by using either of these scores CAT/CMAT/GMAT/MH-CET. The selection parameters & their respective weightages are Acads(25%), Entrance exams(20%), Extra curricular(15%), Communication(20%)& Work ex(20%).There are 60 seats to offer & the fees is 8.5 lakhs excluding hostel charges. For placements students can expect an average of 7 lakhs, min is 6 & max is 15 lakhs. Companies like AXIS, HDFC, AMAZON, ACCENTURE, KPMG visit campus regularly.

Institute of Public Enterprise or IPE

This college was started as a research institute in 1964 by the government of India for studying

and researching on issues related to public enterprises. They are also affiliated to Osmania

University which is a prestigious and renowned University in Hyderabad, India. They offer

programs like post graduate diploma in management, PDGM in marketing management, PDGM

in banking insurance and financial services, PDGM in international business, PDGM in human

resource management, executive and practicing executive. All of their diverse courses are

recognized by AITC and are also considered equivalent to MBA by the association of Indian

universities. They have a lively campus extending up to 21 acres and it is also situated within the

Osmania university campus itself. More importantly they 70 % percent of their students get

placed with multi national companies. It is also one of the best MBA colleges in Telangana and

Andhra Pradesh. Thomson reuters, godrej, novaritus, ICICI bank, kotak, cognizant, oracle,

Microsoft, reliance, Vodafone, airtel, idea etc are some of the companies that recruit from the

Christ university institute of management

Christ university institute of management is situated in Bangalore. These are the following

programs offered by them:

 Master of Business Administration - (Finance/ Human Resource/ Lean Operations and

Systems/ Marketing/ Business Analytics)

 Master of Business Administration (FHWS Germany) and MBA

Finance/Marketing/Operations (Christ University)

 Master of Business Administration (CHRIST (Deemed to be University)) + MS (Virginia

Commonwealth University), USA

 MBA (Christ (Deemed to be University))+ MBA (Western Michigan University)

They also have a placement cell. Different recruiters like Amazon, flipkart, gionee etc come to

recruit.

Gitam university.

It is a deemed university established in vishakapattanam. The MBA programs offered are MBA,

MBA with HRM, MBA(fintech). The fee structure for all the 3 courses are the same that is

around 7, 20,000. They also provide an integrated MBA program. Around 31 recruiters visited

last year like oyo rooms, nestle, Walmart. They also claim to have an 80 percent placement rate.

Their campus placement is run by a professor itself instead of a student run placement cell.

Institute of management technology

It is a business school with campuses at Ghaziabad, Nagpur, dubai and Hyderabad. They offer

post graduate diploma and executive education programs as well. They also offer distant

education offer. They have also been consistently ranked as one of the best and premium

business schools in India. They have had great recruiters like Aditya brila, Ernst and young,

HDFC bank etc. Their fee structure is around 12 lacks.

IPE is definitely a better college among the four. The choice must be between IPE and IMT.

Both the colleges have been around for a long period of time. Most importantly they have a

greater rate of placements. They have some of the premium companies like Thomson Reuters,

Ernst and young, Microsoft etc. recruiting. These two colleges are also renowned when it comes

to management courses. They have that tag name which will look good on your resume and

would attract potential recruiters. Personally, IPE is a great choice because they offer a great

variety of course within the MBA field. Their fees are also around 8 lakhs. IMT has a slightly

expensive fee structure at around 12 lakhs.

If you fail to score this in your bachelors, they might not consider your application. I feel sorry to say that you will not be able to qualify for admission into IMT. Hi Swati, generally the cutoff stays around 70 percentile with no sectional scores. Now this percentile you obtained seems to be close one. My opinion is just dont be expecting only a single college try for various other options available with the obtained percentile. If you feel you want to be part of that single college try it around next year if you are so much determined. The situation here is 50-50 to be straight.

2) Fore school of management

3)National institute of technology, durgapur

4) Kirlosker instute of advance management studies.
