For pursuing Ayurveda candidates need to do Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). It is a 5.5 years undergraduate course for candidates interested in Ayurveda. They must qualify NEET. India has 50 government colleges for Ayurveda.

Once the results are declared, candidates have to go for counselling process.
