The cutoff marks varies ever year. Based on the previous years cut off marks it will vary around 45-50 marks for general candidate,40-45 marks for OBC and 35-40 marks for SC/ST candidates.Cutoff marks is based on the qualifying mark, number of students appeared , difficulty level of the paper.So

As you know apeamcet is entrance exam for students to do there engineering ,so many students write every year and there is high competition also and getting rank below 10000 also depends on other's if they score more then you ,then your rank also varies so
