I am getting fee waiver seat in IERT allahabad for instrumentation and control engineering should i take it or go for some other college.Placement is not really my goal for b.tech i want to go for higher education or some govt job?
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that your main goal is government job or higher studies and your placement is not a priority.
So i would recommend you to go for this college as you are also getting fee waiver and this placement is not that bad of instrumentation. The placements are average here.
hello sir ,what is in instrumentation and control engineering..?and what is scopes are in this engineering field. .? and which colleges are provide it best..in india..?
Hello candidate
Instrumentation and control engineering are used for designing and developing, managing and maintaining the equipment which are used for monitoring and controlling the engineering systems and their process . Job is good in this field.
It has very large industrial scope. It has good scope but the demand is less as compared to computer science. It has high scope in oil rich states. So it has very good scope because in oil and gas the company will hire only engineer with instrumentation and control engineer . So it has good scope.
Thankyou
Hope this be helpful for you

How can I work in ISRO after my UG in Instrumentation and Control Engineering
hello aspirant
In order to become an ISRO scientist, you first have to complete Graduation in BE/Btech in any one of the popular streams from Mechanical engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering. Then You have to apply and appear for ICRB Exam (ISRO centralized Recruitment Board Exam).
The eligibility criteria to apply for ICRB exam is as follows :
Students must have completed BTech or BE degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical or any other related field with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or 6.8 CGPA on a scale of 10 .
So with this being said, You are not eligible for ICRB exam with the above mentioned engineering branch.
I hope that this will help.
is instrumentation and control engineering a core or non core branch?
Instrumentation and Control Engineering isn't a core branch. Its a applied branch and obviously an interdisciplinary branch of Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics engineering. Instrumentation and Control Engineering is a good field of study and you have a very good prospect in private sector.

Which NIT can I get with 202251 rank in jee mains with general category for metallurgical engineering or any other lower branch as instrumentation and control engineering?
Hello Aspirant,
It is really difficult to get into a government college at this rank through JoSAA counselling rounds. However, you should try your luck in CSAB counselling. In CSAB rounds you can get colleges at higher ranks and if you're lucky, you might get a branch of your preference. CSAB counselling is held after the JoSAA counselling is over and you need to register for it seperately.
