In IB ACIO form , I have filled wrong d/o/b , instaed of 2001 , by mistakely i have filled 2000 , please anyone help me what to do , its my one of dream job , i dont know this blunder mistake has happened by me

Taabia Fathima 31st Aug, 2025

Hey Rohan:)

If you have accidentally  entered the wrong date of birth in your IB ACIO application, don't panic.once the form is submitted it can't be edited, so you should make a notarized affidavit stating the correct date of birth and explaining that it was a genuine mistake, along with supporting documents like your birth certificate. Contact the help desk to inform them of the mistake and follow their guidance. If your shortlisted, be honest during the selection process and present the affidavit and supporting documents.

Make sure to keep all supporting documents ready incase the authorities ask for clarification.

Hope this helps!

I made the ib acio payment on 6 August 2025 through upi but again I log into my account it showing that the application is submitted and the payment is pending. i raised the problem in helpdesk but no response Today 10 August and last date of form filling and there is no respons. what should i do

SHUBHRADIP ROY 10th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

This is a critical situation since today is the last date for payment. Here's what you should do immediately:

  1. Do NOT make another payment. Your original payment might still be reconciling. Making another payment risks double deduction.

  2. Contact the IB ACIO Helpline IMMEDIATELY. Their helpline number is 022-61087513 . It operates from 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. Even if it's past 6 PM, keep trying first thing tomorrow morning.

  3. Gather Payment Proof: Keep your UPI transaction ID, bank statement showing the debit, and any screenshots of the payment success and the "payment pending" status ready.

  4. Keep Trying Helpdesk: Continue trying the helpdesk. They might be overwhelmed due to the deadline.

  5. Check Application Status: Log in to your IB ACIO account frequently. Sometimes, it takes a few hours for the payment status to update.

  6. Official Notification: Refer to the official IB ACIO 2025 notification. It usually has details or FAQs about payment issues.

Since it's the last date, keep trying the helpline as your primary action. Explain the situation clearly and provide all transaction details.

I wrongly typed my matriculation board name, ICSE, as ICSC in my IB ACIO application form. I already asked for help from the helpdesk. Will it be a problem?

SEJAL JAIN 2nd Aug, 2025

Hello

A minor typo like writing "ICSC" instead of "ICSE" in your IB ACIO application form is generally not a serious issue, especially since you've already contacted the helpdesk and taken the right step to correct it. If the rest of your details like your marks, year, and roll number, are accurate and verifiable, such a small error is unlikely to lead to disqualification. However, keep any official documents and your helpdesk communication safe for future reference, especially during document verification.

I am btech 4th semester can I apply for IB acio exam

Nikita shahi 1st Aug, 2025

If you are interest in the IB ACIO exam. This is a popular central government job under the Ministry of Home Affairs and many students from engineering backgrounds like BTech apply for it.Since you’re currently in 4th semester, which means you are still pursuing your second year of BTech, you are not eligible yet to apply for the IB ACIO exam. The eligibility criteria clearly state that the candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university at the time of application. This means you will become eligible only after completing your BTech generally by the time you're in your final semester or have your degree results. The IB ACIO exam includes topics like:

General Awareness ,Reasoning and Analytical Ability,Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.

Your technical background will also help you in logical reasoning and analytical ability sections. Keep focusing on your studies, build your general knowledge, and practice aptitude regularly.

All the best!

Iam btech 4th 1st semester year can I apply for IB acio exam

Chelsie G 2nd Aug, 2025

Yes, you can apply for the IB ACIO exam, but only if you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of application. The main requirement is that you must have a Bachelor’s degree completed from a recognized university. Since you're in 4th year 1st semester right now, you’ll be eligible only if you complete your degree before the final document verification or joining. So, if the notification comes out before you graduate, you can still apply, but make sure your degree is completed before the final selection stage.

I made the ib acio payment yesterday through upi , money is debited from my account but application shows its still pending should i repay or wait for refund last date is 10 aug 2025

Anannya sarma 1st Aug, 2025

its better to wait for a few hours or a day or two it is a common problem where the transaction is not shown due to some technical issue but i would suggest not to wait for the last day  , if its not showing the transaction 1 week before the last late you can raise a complaint to the ib acio.
