Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Exam
Hey Rohan:)
If you have accidentally entered the wrong date of birth in your IB ACIO application, don't panic.once the form is submitted it can't be edited, so you should make a notarized affidavit stating the correct date of birth and explaining that it was a genuine mistake, along with supporting documents like your birth certificate. Contact the help desk to inform them of the mistake and follow their guidance. If your shortlisted, be honest during the selection process and present the affidavit and supporting documents.
Make sure to keep all supporting documents ready incase the authorities ask for clarification.
Hope this helps!
Hello Aspirant,
This is a critical situation since today is the last date for payment. Here's what you should do immediately:
Do NOT make another payment. Your original payment might still be reconciling. Making another payment risks double deduction.
Contact the IB ACIO Helpline IMMEDIATELY. Their helpline number is 022-61087513 . It operates from 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. Even if it's past 6 PM, keep trying first thing tomorrow morning.
Gather Payment Proof: Keep your UPI transaction ID, bank statement showing the debit, and any screenshots of the payment success and the "payment pending" status ready.
Keep Trying Helpdesk: Continue trying the helpdesk. They might be overwhelmed due to the deadline.
Check Application Status: Log in to your IB ACIO account frequently. Sometimes, it takes a few hours for the payment status to update.
Official Notification: Refer to the official IB ACIO 2025 notification. It usually has details or FAQs about payment issues.
Since it's the last date, keep trying the helpline as your primary action. Explain the situation clearly and provide all transaction details.
Hello
A minor typo like writing "ICSC" instead of "ICSE" in your IB ACIO application form is generally not a serious issue, especially since you've already contacted the helpdesk and taken the right step to correct it. If the rest of your details like your marks, year, and roll number, are accurate and verifiable, such a small error is unlikely to lead to disqualification. However, keep any official documents and your helpdesk communication safe for future reference, especially during document verification.
