How is gd goenka university for B.des in interior design ? How is the placement?

eeshaakula_9673611 Student Expert 21st Jul, 2019

The teaching includes lots of Exposure the whole school of fashion & design has been student volunteers for past 2 years for The Delhi Times Fashion Week., etc.

They travel to a lot of places. Exposure to technology like Juku Industrial Sewing Machines, 3D printer, Laser Printer, “Mac Labs”

Yes, there are much better colleges agreed. But if you've got the drive. Hardwork is the key, be it any school/Department.

But students are completely oblivious of comparatively better opportunities in These fields at Gd Goenka University, compared to crowd filling uni like ‘others' in Punjab, Noida, Manesar, Gurugram.

Make a good choice & do go for counselling in uni, they guide what to pick what courses to drop in a field. So you enjoy learning best of what your strengths are.

Deepika Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

dear aspirant,

the eligibility for interior designing are as follows:

  • Admissions for the diploma in interior design being offered across India by specialist institutes and universities are usually done on the basis of merit, i.e., the marks that candidates have secured in their class 12 board examinations or equivalent.
  • In addition, the admission process to the diploma in interior design also usually has a qualifying exam or entrance exam which interested candidates will need to pass or clear.
  • Colleges or institutes offering qualification for interior designing course usually require aspirants to have secured a minimum of 50% marks at the class 12 level in order to be given admission to the course.
  • This percentage of marks is usually lowered for reserved category candidates.

the admission process for goverment institutions and universities would have ceased by now you might try in private institutes.

hope it helped.
